Dr Vinay Kumaraswamy

Dr. Vinay Kumaraswamy is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in Arthroscopy, Sports Injuries, and Shoulder Surgery from Wrightington Hospital, Manchester, UK. He is highly skilled in performing minimally invasive keyhole surgeries, joint replacements, and managing a wide range of orthopaedic conditions. Dr. Vinay has a particular interest and expertise in treating upper limb disorders involving the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. In addition, he has extensive experience in addressing knee and other lower limb issues, offering comprehensive care for patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems.

Dr. Vinay Kumaraswamy completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and MS Orthopaedics from Banaras Hindu University, securing 4th rank in the PG entrance exam. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, UK. He trained in arthroscopy and sports injuries under Dr. David Rajan in Coimbatore and further specialized at Wrightington Hospital, Manchester. With experience at premier institutes like MAMC, Delhi, he now practices in Bangalore, where he established The Aviva Ortho and Sports Injury Clinic.
